The actor, Kristofer Hivju, known from Game of Thrones and Beck, together with the Swedish lifestyle magazine Cafè, made a photoshoot in Helene Knoop’s studio. The surroundings were a perfect fit for Hivjus personality and reflected his past. Knoop and Hivju used to hang out in the same milieu around Nerdrum in their 20´ies.

In large format and with deeper experience Helene Knoop is showing 20 new works; paintings, drawings, installations and lithographs. My painting “Clio”, from the series The Nine Muses is on the cover for this book. Later this year two other works will adorn the fronts of books: one about pregnancy and another for a poet… I like the idea that the paintings can live their life in other disciplines.
