Newsletter Fall 2015

After being on the move for a year Helene Knoop has established a studio in an old cement factory, in which she has created new paintings in 2015.

The story of the “Three Graces” continues, now in oil on canvas and in alarge-scale format. Knoop depicts the meeting of three women and an intimate moment which reflects upon their sisterhood.

Knoop’s series “Motherhood” is enriched with a new motif: Three characters—a mother and her children—melt together in a “Goodnight Kiss.” This is a self-portrait including her two children.
